About the Job

We are actively looking for an IT Manager for immediate hire. This is a leadership role for successful managing and deploying IT support infrastructure across Systel, Inc. This person will be responsible for managing the team and ensuring that the services are available 24/7 and fully CMCC certified. We are looking for someone who has a strong drive, maintains an absolute ownership of their work, and has an ability to learn quickly on the job.

This position is 100% in-person at our headquarters in Sugar Land, TX.

The Work

Manage IT department and provide leadership for the team.
Oversee the administration and maintenance of the company's technology infrastructure.
Work effectively across departments to ensure IT service delivery against agreed priorities
Oversee the SLA for support tickets

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or other related field
5+ years experience in managing IT infrastructure and teams.

Knowledge and Skills

Strong skill and knowledge of
- IT equipment, technology, architecture.
- Cloud based services
- Virtualization
- NIST / CMCC compliance
- Firewalls, security appliances and services
- Managing teams
Able to work independently, prioritize and handle multiple deadlines, proactive problem-solver, team player.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to develop effective business relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers
