About the Job
We have an immediate need for an Sales Manager. This position will manage an assigned vertical and geographical region, and support sales of Systel rugged compute products.

We are looking for someone who has strong leadership skills, who’s a self-starter, and who has a strong work ethic that includes working beyond a typical 40-hour work week to complete all tasks required of the role. The ideal candidate will build long-term relationships with customers and can manage and set priorities for the team in an everchanging customer-driven market.

This role will be based in Sugar Land, TX with the potential for a hybrid work model. 

The Work
    • Promote Systel products to new prospects by working with Business Development Directors (BDD) and/or resellers
    • Work with BDD and Inside Sales Reps to support all pre- and post-sales activities. This includes but is not limited to: quote/lead follow up, demo/eval presentations, reseller development/management, and all post sales activities
    • Grow existing business in all current accounts
    • Establish a strong relationship with the appropriate contacts (Program, Project, Engineering, Procurement groups) and embed Systel product line in current & upcoming projects
    • Create presentations and proposals to respond to formal RFQs
    • Identify and report new product opportunities and emerging market trends
    • Interface with Product Management and Engineering as needed for pre sales inquiries
    • Collaborate with all Systel Departments to satisfy open issues on existing orders to meet on time delivery
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Business Administration / Bachelor of Science Business Administration or equivalent with 3-5 years of practical experience
  • 3-5 years direct solution sales experience, building long-term relationships with the customers, and managing 10+ open opportunities at any given time
  • Experience selling computing H/W is a plus
  • Experience managing and mentoring Inside Sales and other support groups
  • Experience in presentation of products and services to groups of prospects and customers.  This experience shall include presentations for the purposes of training and presentations for the purpose of selling to different level of groups within the accounts.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook)
  • Experience managing workflow through a complete understanding of ever changing customer requirements and applying a sense of urgency to them and completing the tasks on time.
