Who you are
As the Business Solutions Intern you will support the Business Solutions team in delivering process improvements, system enhancements, and data-driven insights across the organization. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in business analysis, automation, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration while strengthening analytical and technical skills.

This internship is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Information Systems (CIS), or a related field who are interested in business process improvement, systems integration, and data analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Business Solutions team with ongoing projects related to process optimization and system enhancements

  • Analyze business workflows and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements

  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI

  • Develop and support workflow automations using Power Automate

  • Gather, document, and validate business requirements

  • Support data collection, cleansing, and analysis efforts

  • Create clear documentation for processes, workflows, and system configurations

  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to understand operational challenges and propose data-driven solutions

  • Perform testing and quality validation for system updates and improvements

Qualifications

Required:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Information Systems (CIS), Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
Preferred:
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Automate
  • Basic understanding of databases or SQL
  • Familiarity with business process mapping or workflow documentation

  • Ability to break down complex problems into structured solutions
